Bobbie Dollar isn’t your average investigator—hell, she isn’t even your average person. She’s a modern noir heroine with a wicked wit, deadly aim, and enough snappy one-liners to make Bogart raise an eyebrow.
During her first case, while working as a disgruntled DHS agent with a taste for trouble, Bobbie reluctantly does a favor for a high school frenemy and ends up dodging bullets, bad guys, and her boss’ calls. She’s on the hunt for a missing negative that’s hotter than the lead flying at her from the felons on her tail. If that’s not bad enough, she’s picked up a mysterious shadow while also managing an amorous entanglement with one of NYPD’s finest.

The Bobbie Dollar series was born from my lifelong obsession with noir detectives and my more recent obsession with the radio classic Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar. But Bobbie’s no throwback.
